HHI Corporation is seeking a Construction Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) to lead safety programs on diverse projects inOgden, Utah. You will conduct inspections, enforce safety plans, and cooperate with Owners, PMs, and Superintendents to ensure a safe work environment.

The role requires OSHA 30 (or equivalent), five plus years of safety experience, and ability to communicate clearly in multiple formats. Travel and outdoor/indoor work are required characteristics of the position.

Qualificações

• OSHA30 certification or able to complete within 1 month.
• Experience in safety across construction sites, minimum five years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Clear communication in person, writing and electronically.
• Willing to travel and work indoors/outdoors.
• Must pass government security clearance standards.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen if hired.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site walks and inspections to identify hazards and violations.
• Create and enforce safety plans outlining scope and requirements.
• Serve as safety representative on site for Owner with PM and Superintendent.
• Relay site conditions to Corporate Safety Office.
• Teach or facilitate training for each project.
• Investigate accidents and report to HH I and government entities.
• Prepare and report plans or documentation required for site.
• Research, interpret and implement regulations and requirements.
• Identify hazards and implement solutions without hurting operations.
• Lead on-site trainings and daily Activity Hazard Analysis meetings.
