Job summary

Kelso Industries is hiring a Construction Site Safety Lead Compliance Officer in Florida to ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards. You will develop site safety plans, conduct inspections, and lead incident investigations while coordinating with project teams and HR to foster a strong safety culture.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction safety and several safety certifications; you will manage two on-site safety officers and report to the safety leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any field) required.
• BCSP/ASP/GSP/STSC/SMP/CHST/OHST/CSP credentials required or preferred.
• NFPA70-E knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction sites for OSHA and company safety standards compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks.
