Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer to manage safety on construction projects. The role includes analyzing hazards, conducting audits, implementing prevention plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will develop and enforce site safety programs, perform health inspections, and prepare reports for clients and management. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to obtain access to Federal installations are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain access to a Federal Installation.
• Must pass a background check.
• EM385-1-1 knowledge or certification is required.
• Experience developing site safety programs and conducting audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job hazards analysis to identify hazards and risks.
• Complete safety audits and ensure remedial action as necessary.
• Implement and enforce accident prevention plans and ensure contractor compliance.
• Maintain quality control through daily safety walks and health inspections.
• Develop site-specific safety programs to include emergency actions and evacuations.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements applicable to the project scope.
• Ensure adherence to company safety and insurance protocols.
• Lead safety and subcontractor progress meetings and document outcomes.
• Complete all reports and records in a timely, accurate manner.
