Job summary

Gray Construction seeks a Site Safety Intern for Summer 2027. You will support safety programs on active projects, assist with field observations, and help ensure compliance with OSHA requirements across multiple sites.

The role requires enrollment in a 4-year OSH or related degree, strong verbal and written communication, and a proactive team approach. Travel to project sites across the United States will be required per Gray’s policy; occasional overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in OSH or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Previous safety internship preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform various departmental and field assignments.
• Participate in field safety walks.
• Assist team members with duties assigned.
• Oversee safety and health of personnel on jobsites.
• Provide corrective action recommendations.
• Update records, files and procedures as assigned.
• Participate in job-related activities as assigned.
• Overtime may be required.
