Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a full-time Superintendent in Riverside, CA to coordinate on-site work of employees, subcontractors and project management, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role enforces site safety, trains personnel, and manages budget control and progress tracking. The position involves developing safety programs, overseeing subcontractor performance, reading blueprints, and maintaining thorough documentation and meetings to keep projects aligned with contract

Qualifications

• Post high school education or equivalent in a construction field.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Documentation / file management.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, plans and specifications.
• Team player with team-building skills.
• Remain calm during stressful situations and know when to ask for help.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on site.
• Enforce safety programs and train personnel on safety policies.
• Develop and manage CPM schedule and track progress.
• Assist in development/review of overall construction budget and manage within budget.
• Assist with material procurement and QC program implementation.
• Maintain daily documentation, file management and meeting minutes.
• Hold, prepare, and document required meetings.
