Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an entrepreneurial, hands-on Construction Supervisor to oversee projects from initial scope and estimating through completion. This role will bid and price jobs, manage subcontractors and vendors, oversee job sites, control costs, and ensure quality and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, think like an owner, solve problems in the field, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to bid, estimate, and price projects.
• Strong field construction knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and costs.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate projects and develop estimates, bids, labor/material costs, and project budgets.
• Solicit and negotiate pricing with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including scheduling, site supervision, quality control, and completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and manpower.
• Perform hands-on construction, repairs, and problem-solving as needed.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, change orders, and profitability.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, code, and client expectations.
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
