Job summary

O.L. Thompson Construction Co., Inc. in the Charleston metro area is seeking a General Construction Labor to perform general manual labor at tri-county job sites, including shovel work, site prep, and debris cleanup.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must be safety conscious and wear PPE as required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites, remove debris and obstructions, and perform routine cleanup.
• Assist heavy equipment operators and skilled laborers as needed.
• Follow directions from supervisors and work both independently and in a team.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability to meet site schedules.
