Job summary

Tailwind Applied Sciences is seeking a hands-on general laborer to support skilled trades and maintain efficient operations on-site in Oklahoma City. The role emphasizes physical work, safety awareness, and reliable task completion under supervision.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, assisting carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, operating basic tools, maintaining clean work areas, and reporting hazards promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor under supervision.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general physical labor such as loading, unloading, lifting, digging, cleaning, and moving materials or equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with daily tasks.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Set up and take down work sites, including erecting scaffolding, barricades, or temporary structures.
• Transport materials to and from work areas using hand trucks, wheelbarrows, or similar equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
