Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an entry-level construction helper to assist skilled craft workers on project sites. You will follow directions from foremen, help set up work, and perform tasks with a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, reading safety notices, and observing equipment to identify hazards. The role requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or with related field experience.
• Working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions from superintendents, foremen and experienced crew.
• Maintain safety as the first priority in all duties.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Read warning signs and operating instructions for equipment and safety rules.
• Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment to identify hazards.
