Qualifications

• One year of general labor experience is required.
• Proficient with hand and small power tools.
• Familiar with construction materials, methods and tools.
• Understanding of machines and tools, including operation and basic repairs.
• Ability to monitor gauges, dials, or indicators for proper function.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Capable of physically demanding tasks and heavy lifting.
• Skilled at inspecting equipment and maintaining safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, and temporary structures.
• Load/unload materials and distribute to locations.
• Measure/mark openings or distances for layout.
• Tend pumps, compressors, or generators for power.
• Mix/pour/spread concrete with portable mixers.
• Control traffic near work zones.
• Dig trenches/backfill and level earth per specs.
