Job summary

HKA Enterprises is seeking a hardworking General Laborer to support day-to-day construction activities on active job sites. This role involves a variety of manual labor tasks to assist skilled tradespeople and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

The position pays $18.00–$20.00 per hour DOE and requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and bending for extended periods, and outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel for long periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work safely around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, operators, etc.) with daily tasks
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment on-site
• Clean and prepare job sites, including removing debris and hazards
• Dig, level, and grade ground as needed
• Set up and break down equipment, barricades, and signage
• Operate basic hand and power tools as directed
• Assist with the setup of scaffolding, forms, and other temporary structures
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
• Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned
