Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Construction Laborer in New York to support site maintenance, material handling, and safety protocols. This hourly, full-time role reports to the Labor Foreman/Project Manager and requires physical ability and reliability to work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, cleaning and preparing sites, following blueprints, and assisting with various trades while complying with safety rules and company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction-related experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel to job sites.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, assist carpenters and equipment operators, and perform general site tasks as directed.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, set up/dismantle scaffolding, remove debris.
• Maintain a clean, organized site and secure tools daily.
• Operate equipment and perform manual labor to move supplies.
• Follow blueprints or site supervisor instructions.
• Work with materials like wood, drywall, plastic, fiberglass.
• Work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or beams.
• Ensure work meets building codes and project specs.
