Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Construction Laborer to support site operations, help maintain a clean and safe work site, and assist carpenters and equipment operators on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include loading materials, preparing sites, following blueprints, and adhering to all safety procedures. A valid driver's license and a HS diploma (or equivalent) are preferred, with the ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or a related field.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willing to travel to job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, assist carpenters and equipment operators, and perform general site tasks as directed.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including setting up and dismantling scaffolding, and removing debris and waste in accordance with site safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by storing materials properly and securing the area daily.
• Follow blueprints or site supervisor instructions and work with various materials on site.
