Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a hands-on Construction Mechanic for our Hawthorne, NJ warehouse operations. You will evaluate construction equipment, perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and vehicles, and travel to job sites as needed to inspect and repair gear.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel and gasoline engines, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver’s license. CDL/DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and small engines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment.
• Flexible to travel to construction job sites.
• Valid driver's license; CDL/DOT a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction equipment for repairs and communicate issues to management.
• Perform maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Travel to job sites to inspect and repair equipment.
• Handle administrative tasks including maintenance logs and scheduling.
