STRUCTURAL is hiring a hands-on Construction Mechanic for our Hawthorne, NJ operations. You will inspect, repair, and maintain construction equipment, tools, and vehicles, and occasionally travel to job sites. You’ll also handle administrative duties like maintenance logs and scheduling.

Our ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel and gasoline engines, strong diagnostic skills, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, small engine diesel, gasoline and fleet vehicle repair & maintenance.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot & diagnose equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when & what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Must be able to travel to construction job sites to evaluate, inspect and repair construction equipment.

• Continual evaluation of construction equipment for required repairs; communicating issues to management; and maintenance and repair of all construction equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Occasional travel to job sites to inspect, evaluate and repair construction equipment.
• Administrative work relating to paperwork, tracking maintenance logs and other scheduling items.
