Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) in Bismarck, ND seeks a Construction Services Representative to support project teams with construction observation on civil-related projects. You will help ensure progress, quality, and contract compliance while collaborating with Owners, Engineers, and Contractors.

The role emphasizes professional conduct, documentation, and coordination across project activities, with occasional travel and schedule flexibility to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Related construction field experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 5+ years of construction experience or engineering-based construction observation and administration experience.
• Ability to travel and work remotely with overnight stays as required.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background checks and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and administration on AE2S water reservoir, pipeline, pump station, and facility projects.
• Ensure appropriate communication between the Owner and Engineer to keep all parties updated on progress and quality of the project.
• Work with Contractors to ensure project document requirements, process, schedule, and related contractual obligations are understood.
• Monitor and document Contractor’s performance to ensure compliance with plan and specification requirements.
• Coordinate Change Orders with the Project Manager and maintain project files and reports.
• Attend meetings and follow up with other construction representatives and personnel related to scheduling, workforce, material delivery, change orders, and start up.
• Represent AE2S in a highly professional and respectful manner at all times.
