PBK is seeking a Construction Services Manager to act as the on-site liaison among clients, contractors, and project stakeholders. The role protects the owner’s interests by monitoring progress, quality standards, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of construction administration or management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Proficiency in PlanGrid, Procore or similar construction-management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction documents, specs, submittals, and project schedules.
  • Monitor construction progress to help keep projects on schedule and aligned with objectives.
  • Serve as liaison between clients, contractors, and project stakeholders during construction.
  • Represent the owner’s interests on-site throughout projects’ duration.
  • Observe contractor performance and adherence to quality standards, docs, and schedule.
  • Document site observations and progress through reports and meeting notes.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates and resolutions with teams and clients.
  • Coordinate with internal architectural and engineering teams to resolve field issues timely.
  • Support a positive client experience through responsive communication and relationship management.

The Construction Services Manager serves as the liaison between clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction phase of projects. This individual acts as an on‑site representative of the firm, protecting the owner’s interests by monitoring project progress, quality standards, and schedule adherence. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, clients, and internal project teams.

Here’s What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of construction administration, construction management, or related field experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license required. Position requires regular travel between jobsites.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project demands, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written documentation, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative and solution‑oriented approach.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment in the field.
