Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a summer 2027 intern for the Indiana Project Controls team. You will support construction office tasks and assist project staff under close supervision.

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in construction services and collaboration with experienced engineers. As an intern, you will participate in meetings, observe on-site testing, assist with drawings reviews, conduct basic research, and help collect data to support project

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED and be enrolled in a construction services program.
Prefer completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services coursework.
Ability to assist multiple project teams under supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assists with construction office tasks including minutes, tracking logs, and department deliverables.
Attends and observes meetings with internal and external project teams.
Observes on-site material testing.
May assist with basic shop drawing review and verify compliance with plans.
Conducts basic research and data collection.
Reads drawings and materials and provides feedback as requested.
Assists on portions of special projects as directed.
