Job summary

HNTB in Indiana is seeking a summer Construction Services Intern to support project teams in Indianapolis and Carmel. This role provides hands-on exposure to office tasks, meetings, and on-site activities related to construction management while you complete your post-secondary studies.

You will learn about drawing reviews, material testing, and project coordination as you assist with documentation, tracking logs, and feedback on plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction office tasks including meeting minutes and processing of tracking logs.
• Attends and observes meetings with internal and external project teams.
• Observes on-site material testing and assists with basic shop drawing reviews for compliance with plans.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Reads construction drawings and provides feedback as requested.
• Assists on portions of special projects as directed.
