This full-time position requires an engaging personality, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A competitive salary of $65,000 to $75,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• Experience working with Bluebeam for project take-offs and scaled drawings.
• Ability to review and read architectural plans with knowledge of IBC codes.

Job description

An Insight Global customer in the pre‑fabricated metal building industry is looking to hire an estimator to join their growing sales team. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate project cost estimates to sales people and customers. Outside of the structural steel estimates, this person will also be required to work with vendors/subcontractors to provide pricing estimates for everything involved in the building from specialty siding, cranes, mechanical systems, etc. Most of this work will be completed in Bluebeam, MBS and Excel software. This person will be working directly with customers, so we are looking for someone with an engaging personality to connect with customers and with a strong attention to detail to ensure pricing estimates are accurate. This is a full‑time role working 5 days a week in the office in south Phoenix from 8 AM to 4 PM. We can offer a salary of $65,000 to $75,000 for this role but exact compensation may change based on education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Construction Management, Architecture or related degree is preferred.
• Experience working with Bluebeam software - specifically reviewing or completing project take‑offs, working off scaled drawings, and pulling measurements.
• Experience reviewing and reading architectural plan sets. Knowledge of basic IBC codes and regulations to ensure plan sets meet requirements.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel primarily)
• Strong attention to detail
