The Pike Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in the Binghamton market. You will oversee multiple buildings, manage safety, schedule, and budgets, and guide large field teams to deliver high-quality results for commercial and residential projects.

Bring 10+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in budgeting, risk management, and client relations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience with commercial, mixed-use, residential, multifamily construction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple buildings or concurrent project phases.
  • Experience leading large field teams and cross-functional staff.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project financials.
  • Experience with project scheduling and CM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (equivalent exp considered).

Pike is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in the Binghamton market. What You’ll Do

As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide leadership across multiple commercial and residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, financial performance, and schedule execution every step of the way.

  • Lead multiple active construction projects and building phases simultaneously
  • Oversee projects from planning through final turnover
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Build strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Drive decision-making and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams
  • Manage large project teams across multiple buildings and active job sites

  • Support staffing, planning, and development of project team members
Operational Management
  • Oversee master schedules and milestone planning across multiple projects
  • Coordinate manpower, subcontractor sequencing, and procurement timelines
  • Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects moving
  • Ensure strong communication between office and field operations
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, buyout, billing, cash flow, and cost controls
  • Lead change order management and contract administration
  • Review financial performance and projections with leadership
  • Protect project profitability while maintaining client satisfaction
Quality & Safety
  • Maintain Pike’s commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, closeout documentation, and turnover
  • Support issue resolution during warranty periods when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Strong experience incommercial building, mixed-use, residential, multifamily construction
  • Proven success managingmultiple buildings or concurrent project phases
  • Experience leadinglarge field teams and cross-functional project staff
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project financials

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is$125,000 – $150,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, technical knowledge, qualifications, market conditions, and overall alignment with the requirements of the role.
