This role helps track subcontractor working crews, coordinate site activities, identify field issues, support cleanroom/high‑tech construction requirements, and escalates risks to the Superintendent. This is not a general administrative role. The position requires onsite construction coordination experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, MEP, tool install, wet mechanical/process utility, or similar high‑tech construction environments.

General Responsibilities
  • Support the Superintendent in coordinating daily/weekly construction activities, subcontractor working crews, vendors, trades, and tool installation teams.
  • Perform site walks, track field progress, collect photos/updates, document issues, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with schedule tracking, look‑ahead planning, work sequencing, access constraints, material readiness, and field coordination meetings.
  • Coordinate with EHS and QAQC on field observations, safety/quality issues, cleanroom protocols, contamination‑control expectations, and corrective actions.
  • Help coordinate material movement, dock/laydown usage, tool move‑in/move‑out activities, and utility tie‑in readiness.
  • Track RFIs, field issues, change impacts, punch items, permits, daily reports, and other site documentation as assigned.
  • Escalate delays, conflicts, safety risks, quality concerns, material shortages, and subcontractor performance issues to the Superintendent.
  • Support compliance with site safety, PPE, environmental, cleanliness, and client requirements.
Education & Related Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5+ years of construction coordination or field coordination experience required.
  • Direct semiconductor fab, cleanroom, tool installation, MEP, wet mechanical/process utility, or high‑tech construction experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, submittals, as‑builts, and field documentation.
  • OSHA 30 required or must be obtained before site start if not already active.
  • Valid driver's license, approved background check, and drug screen required where applicable.
  • Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, or shift work when project conditions require.
Must Have Skills
  • Strong organization, field coordination, communication, and follow‑up discipline.
  • Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, QAQC, EHS, material planning, and project leadership.
  • Working knowledge of cleanroom protocols, tool install phases, MEP coordination, and semiconductor site requirements.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera P6, CAD/BIM viewers, or document control tools preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in PPE, walk active construction areas, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
