Job summary

SCIS is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to monitor construction sites for unauthorized devices and to screen materials for a high-profile client. The CST will operate inspection equipment, read blueprints, and produce detailed security reports.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and at least two years of CST experience on government projects, plus the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Background checks and post-hire screenings are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of CST experience on US Government construction projects.
• Completion of a US Government-approved CST training course.
• Must undergo and meet background checks and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction workers to prevent introduction of surveillance devices.
• Screen equipment and furnishings for controlled areas using X-ray and other approved methods.
• Operate inspection equipment as required for the site.
• Read designs and blueprints and understand architect’s intent.
• Write detailed security reports and maintain duty logs.
• Perform other duties of similar scope as assigned.
