Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer - Construction Zone for full-time coverage at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will conduct unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, logging entries, and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, and perimeters.
Monitor access, verify authorization, and maintain entry/exit logs.
Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
Report incidents, hazards, and policy concerns per site procedures.
