Job summary

On Target Executive Search, A Division Of On Target Staffing LLC is partnering with a growing high-end commercial construction company to recruit a Scheduling Manager who will lead scheduling efforts across multiple projects. The role establishes standards, supports project teams, and provides leadership with visibility into milestones and risks.

The position oversees baseline schedules, forecasts, and look-ahead updates, and requires proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and field operations.
• Experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules, schedule updates, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules from preconstruction through closeout.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Preconstruction teams to create baseline schedules and forecasting models.
• Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays, risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Facilitate schedule reviews and provide actionable recommendations to project teams.
• Standardize scheduling procedures, templates, and best practices across the organization.
• Create company-wide scheduling reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
• Support project teams with schedule updates, critical path analysis, and recovery planning.
• Provide training and guidance on scheduling best practices.
