Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is hiring a Scheduler to create, monitor, and maintain multiple schedules using Primavera P6. You will work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and staff to plan projects from concept through construction and report to the chief scheduler.

Candidates bring 5+ years in construction scheduling for heavy highways, a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience, and strong skills in Primavera P6 and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ construction scheduling experience in heavy highway projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred; real industry experience can substitute.
• Experience on state and federal highway projects and knowledge of DOT processes.
• Primavera 6 scheduling software and Excel proficiency required.
• Safety minded with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and maintain multiple schedules using Primavera P6 and aid the team in defining project goals and success factors.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and staff to plan from concept through construction, reporting to the chief scheduler.
• Modify project schedules during turnover as bids are evaluated and revised.
• Develop work breakdown structures and detailed task descriptions.
• Analyze status against baselines and assess resource, duration, constructability, and cash flow impacts.
• Recommend actions to reduce schedule risk and evaluate design or construction changes.
• Create recovery schedules and mitigation plans when delays occur, and update project teams with progress.
• Prepare schedule updates and reports, including 4-week look-ahead and cash flow analyses.
