Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Scheduler to join our Carrolinas team, based in Raleigh with monthly travel to Charlotte. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with teams, and mentoring staff in scheduling processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, proficiency with P6, Bluebeam, and MS Office, and the ability to communicate schedule status effectively across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or 7+ years progressive construction experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated experience with CPM scheduling.
• Ability to travel within division for meetings and training.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, pursuit, preconstruction, and detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Build baseline and procurement schedules with project teams and subcontractors.
• Create schedule visuals, charts, and reports for communication and planning.
• Perform regular schedule updates, logic changes, duration changes, and activity modifications.
• Train operations staff on scheduling software and CPM concepts; participate in reviews to assess risk and recovery.
