Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Safety Technician for its Chicago 573 operations based in Zurich, IL. The role focuses on promoting safe work practices, administering the Accident Prevention Plan, and representing PCI in Safety Committee activities.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years in construction safety and an OSHA 30 certification. The position is on-site in the Chicago area, not eligible for visa sponsorship, with a pay range of $30–$37 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years' experience in construction safety.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices to instill an injury-free culture among site and field personnel.
• Assist with administration of the Accident Prevention Plan, policies, and procedures.
• Represent PCI and participate in Safety Committee activities.
• Identify and mitigate safety and health hazards on jobsites.
• Ensure safety reports and documentation are submitted on time.
