Job summary

Medcor Safety is seeking a Safety Professional for a short-term project in Kemmerer, WY. The role focuses on identifying hazards, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local, General Contractor and Owner requirements on a new construction site.

The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and ability to implement site safety programs. The assignment runs for 2 months with a 50-hour work week and a furnished apartment with daily meals allowance.

Qualifications

• Develop positive professional relationships with field personnel and management.
• Coordinate and conduct audits to improve unsafe-work-condition practices.
• Document and communicate site audit information.
• Audit training records of all field personnel.
• Implement federal, local, and site safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in accident briefs, safety publications, bulletins, and reports.
• Contribute to Site-Specific Safety Plans and kickoff meetings.
• Review client/owner requirements for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and communicate with site crews and management to mitigate hazards.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety regulations.
• Assist in development of safety plans and training materials.
• Support audit activities and record-keeping for safety programs.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure safety standards are upheld.
