Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, seeks an experienced Construction Safety Professional for a short-term assignment in Marina del Rey, CA. The 2-month project supports an electrical contractor on new construction, with a 40–48 hour workweek and a $45.00/hour pay rate (W2). Start date is October 5, 2026.

You will conduct safety audits, address hazards with field staff, promote safe practices, and help maintain regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety audits to identify hazards and safety improvements.
• Work with field personnel to address safety concerns and corrective actions.
• Promote safe work practices across the project.
• Document findings from site safety audits and train records.
• Support compliance with federal, state, local, and site safety requirements.
• Participate in Site-Specific Safety Plans and safety meetings.
• Review client safety requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Build professional relationships with field staff, management, and agencies.
