Job summary

Cape Fox Shared Services seeks a qualified Corporate Safety Manager to develop and implement health and safety plans, enforce policies, assess risk, and ensure OSHA compliance for Mountain Point construction projects in the United States.

The role oversees SSHOs and safety specialists, conducts training, investigates incidents, maintains records, and collaborates with insurance and project teams to foster a zero-accident safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing health and safety plans.
• Experience in construction safety and OSHA compliance.
• Strong training and incident investigation skills.
• Ability to manage safety records and certifications.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Review and update EHS procedures and ensure standards are met on projects.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans per OSHA guidelines and EM385-1-1.
• Promote company safety policies and conduct required employee training.
• Oversee SSHOs and safety specialists in support of project managers and superintendents.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and training logs for compliance.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and loss control representatives.
• Provide toolbox talks and site safety education.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
