Job summary

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to lead health and safety initiatives for Mountain Point construction projects in the United States. You will develop plans, enforce policies, assess risks, and ensure OSHA compliance across diverse sites, including renovations, new constructions, and security upgrades.

You will oversee SSHOs, coordinate training, investigate incidents, and maintain safety records.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement health and safety plans in construction environments.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures across projects.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate training and safety certifications for staff.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records for OSHA compliance and audits.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and interactions with insurers.
• Provide toolbox talks and safety briefings to crews.
• Oversee SSHOs and safety specialists in project support.
• Promote a culture of zero accidents and proactive safety.

Responsibilities

• Review and update environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans per OSHA EM385-1-1.
• Promote safety policies; ensure regulatory compliance on site.
• Establish and revise safety programs and policies as needed.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; determine root causes.
• Liaise with insurers; visit job sites with loss control.
• Manage WC claims and safety certifications tracking.
• Provide safety trainings and ensure annual requirements met.
• Maintain safety records and training data for audits.
• Monitor site safety and enforce adherence to protocols.
