HazTek Inc is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects in Bridgewater, NJ. You will ensure OSHA compliance and implement best safety practices so every worker goes home safely.

This full-time role emphasizes a culture of safety, integrity and leadership across teams. You will lead daily safety meetings, conduct investigations, manage audits, and oversee subcontractors, with a focus on Fall Protection, Scaffolding and Excavation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of direct construction safety experience.
• Degree in safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 certification a plus.
• CHST or CSP certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
