Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety on diverse and complex commercial projects across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This role requires proven experience in managing safety programs on large-scale builds and a strong ability to lead training and investigations.

The ideal candidate will ensure OSHA compliance, perform site inspections, and work closely with project teams to mitigate risks while maintaining an attentive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5-10+ years safety experience with a General Contractor or developer.
• Experience managing commercial projects and budgets of $5M+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies to ensure OSHA compliance and industry standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and improve programs.
• Organize and conduct safety training for employees, subcontractors, and management.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and obtain necessary permits.
• Perform risk assessments on sites and work with project teams to mitigate hazards.
