Responsibilities
  • Implementation of safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct regular walk‑through inspections of construction areas.
  • Identify, document, and recommend resolutions for potentially hazardous/hazardous conditions and follow through to ensure corrections are made.
  • Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents.
  • Compile data and photographs, and prepare relevant forms and reports per program procedures and state, federal, and local regulations related to accidents.
  • Conduct various industrial site samplings (e.g., O2, gas, noise) to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s discretion and company needs.
Qualifications
  • Four‑year program in occupational health/safety, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or industrial‑related safety experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and recommend solutions.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
