Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Safety Manager to oversee safety performance across multiple projects and business units in Virginia. You will lead the safety team, coordinate inspections, and drive corporate safety initiatives.

This role focuses on regulatory compliance (OSHA and local requirements), incident investigations, training, and data-driven improvements to protect personnel and project outcomes. Collaborate with site leadership to foster a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Safety Department staff, including performance management, training, career development, and recruiting
• Manage safety needs across multiple projects and business units, including inspections, data analysis, trend identification, and performance improvement
• Conduct and oversee site safety inspections, hazard evaluations, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance (OSHA and local requirements)
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and enforce safety standards across projects
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, orientations, and just-in-time training
• Support preconstruction safety planning, site-specific safety plans, and subcontractor onboarding
• Lead crisis and incident responses and third-party or OSHA inspections
• Analyze and report safety metrics, prepare monthly safety summaries, and recommend corrective actions
• Serve as a technical safety resource and contribute to corporate safety initiatives and goals
