Job summary

Vanir is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across projects from a corporate office. The role focuses on developing site-specific safety plans, evaluating incidents, and driving process improvements with analytics and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in OSHA standards, risk assessment, and safety training, with 6+ years in construction safety and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, office-based position with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EH&S, CM, engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ years in construction with a focus on safety.
• Ground-up vertical commercial building experience preferred.
• OSHA-30 certified.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on tactical day-to-day safety operations.
• Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans in accordance with laws.
• Investigate incidents and prepare injury reports.
• Recommend safety improvements and prevention measures.
• Research regulations and institute compliant changes.
• Manage and update site and corporate safety documentation.
• Prepare safety meeting agendas and record minutes.
• Conduct health and safety training and presentations.
• Manage and distribute PPE.
• Travel up to 10%.
