Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to support safe project execution across active commercial sites.

You will identify hazards, perform inspections, and assist with investigations while ensuring subcontractors comply with OSHA standards and project safety requirements. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of safety experience in commercial construction, OSHA 30, and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 training, plus ability to work with crews and project teams on dynamic job

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional construction safety experience on commercial projects.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction course completion required.
• Formal training in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety Standards.
• Experience conducting jobsite safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident follow-up.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections, field observations, and hazard assessments on active projects.
• Identify unsafe conditions and communicate corrective actions; track deficiencies to closure.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and shift briefings.
• Assist with JSAs and JHAs, and task-specific safety plans.
