Job summary

Allied-Development-Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support the safety program across excavation, sitework and heavy civil projects. This hands-on, field-oriented role partners with project managers, foremen and crews to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

You will conduct site inspections, lead safety meetings, maintain records, and stay current with OSHA standards. Travel to local jobsites is required; OSHA 30 certification and excavation/trenching training are

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction safety and site observations.
  • Familiarity with OSHA construction safety requirements.
  • Ability to communicate safety concerns clearly to crews.
  • Willingness to travel between local jobsites regularly.
  • Comfort working outdoors on active job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety inspections of active jobsites, yard and shop.
  • Observe practices, identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and safety files.
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training coordination.
  • Monitor compliance with safety policies and standards.
  • Assist with incident investigations and JHAs/JSAs.
