Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies for a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety trainings, toolbox talks, and workshops to educate employees on procedures and hazard identification.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local safety regulations and standards.
• Promote a safety-first culture through communications and employee involvement.
