Job summary

Google Data Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Safety professional to assist in supervising and administering project safety initiatives. You will promote a safe work environment, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to training programs across the site.

The role requires knowledge of federal/state safety standards, relevant degrees or experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Onsite work is required with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of health and safety standards (degree or experience).
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Safety or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture among site supervision and workers.
• Assist in supervision and administration of safety, compliance, and training activities.
• Identify hazardous conditions and determine resolutions; provide coaching on safe practices.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits; manage documentation in cloud-based systems.
• Coordinate safety training including New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, and Toolbox Talks.
