Job summary

CoreAqua is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Coordinator for FER-PAL Construction in Taylor, MI. The role is permanent with a 50% in-office/50% travel to job sites, reporting to the Manager - Environment, Health & Safety.

You will partner with construction teams to identify hazards, lead incident investigations, conduct JHAs and site audits, and drive a culture of safety. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to influence across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction safety or industrial EHS.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to solve problems on job sites.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with construction teams to identify hazards and implement safety solutions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct JHAs, site inspections, and audits across active projects.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and trainings.
• Coach Supervisors and employees to strengthen safety accountability.
• Track improvements using data and frontline feedback.
