Job summary

Chaparral Company is seeking a Safety Professional to develop site safety documents and act on construction sites to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. You will perform safety and quality assessments and lead daily inspections to identify hazards and drive risk mitigation.

The role requires BCSP certification (GSP, CSP, ASP, CHST STS-C) and OSHA 30 within two years, plus first aid CPR certification. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop site safety documents and plans.
• Act as Safety Professional on assigned projects, performing safety and quality assessments.
• Oversee construction processes for compliance and issue resolution.
• Identify risks and develop/update safety protocols.
• Hold daily site inspections for hazards in tools and equipment.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports; document conditions and concerns.
• Report safety incidents and update mitigation plans as needed.
• Collaborate to promote and enforce safety culture.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and write incident reports.
