Job summary

Safety Management Group, LLC (SMG) seeks a local Safety Advisor – Construction in Lebanon, Indiana, for a day shift. The role focuses on prioritizing safety, working with project teams in a construction environment, and delivering safety program integration across site activities.

The position requires five+ years in construction safety, relevant certifications, and the ability to create reports, perform hazard analyses, and lead safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of construction safety experience.
• BS in safety or related field preferred; certifications valued (CSP, CHST, STSC).
• First-aid/CPR certification from recognized organization.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Site safety observations and documentation of findings.
• Create reports, run safety metrics, and use safety software.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis.
• Represent the contractor in progress meetings.
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law, the Owner, and contractors.
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and safety meetings.
• Provide incident management and support.
• Documentation and report preparation.
• Conduct contractor program reviews.
