Our construction risk engineering group helps protect property, profitability, and employees. Our dedicated team offers project management, site safety, and operational management expertise to help keep businesses on track.

This position provides risk engineering evaluation and technical consultation for AXA XL’s Construction Property products. It requires a strong technical background and practical experience with commercial construction projects to identify and mitigate builders risk exposures.

Main responsibilities include assisting underwriting with risk assessment, analyzing data, and providing risk management and construction consultation services to insureds.

Responsibilities include:

• Using risk engineering tools to improve customer risk management.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with partners and clients.
• Delivering risk assessments and identifying exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Producing technical reports and risk analyses.
• Providing project-specific recommendations and participating in marketing efforts.
• Completing pre-underwriting risk reports and conducting field surveys.
• Contributing to internal projects and developing risk mitigation articles.

Qualifications:

• Extensive construction management experience, including complex projects and emerging risks.
• Knowledge of energy projects, geotechnical risk, and natural catastrophe exposures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and self-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25-30%.

This is a remote position servicing the US and occasionally Canada. Travel is expected. Candidate must be near Denver, Phoenix, or Las Vegas.
