Job summary

Carolina Cat is seeking a skilled leader to manage the Construction Division rental operations at a CAT Rental Store/Heavy Rents location. You will oversee a team to serve construction, industrial, and commercial customers while driving safety and profitability.

The role requires 5–7 years in rental operations, strong financial acumen, and knowledge of Caterpillar products and systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
5–7 years of rental operations experience in a similar industry.
Strong financial aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and startup procedures for a rental store.

Responsibilities

Champion safety and customer service as a core value for the team.
Lead a team of rental coordinators, supervisors, drivers, and support staff.
Hire, develop, lead, and empower employees to make sound business decisions.
Create and manage training and development plans for all team members.
Participate in implementing rental strategy to achieve growth and profitability.
Monitor branch performance and seek process improvements.
