Mon-Thurs: 4/10 Hour Shift

$23.00-$26.00 an hour

Job description

Are you experienced in renovating, replacing floors, painting, installing cabinets, etc.? Do you not have experience, but always wanted to learn? Well look no further! Here at Dasa Properties, LLC we are one of Western, NY leading Property Management companies. Dasa is rapidly growing and in search for reliable employees to assist us in our growth. We own hundreds of properties in the Buffalo, NY area and Lockport, NY. The Rehab Technician is responsible for providing expert skills in renovating vacant units between tenants. Please note a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation is REQUIRED. We do reimburse for milage on a bi-weekly basis.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Overseeing a crew of 3-5 people
  • Assist in general training of employees
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
  • Document all work orders appropriately
  • General duties to prepare units for move in
  • Replace flooring
  • Install cabinets and/ or counter tops
  • Commute to different job sites
  • Cosmetic repairs which will include plaster, painting, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, management and staff
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned
  • Light electrical knowledge
  • Light plumbing knowledge
  • Minor knowledge in framing
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Great communication skills
  • Some technical skills(phone, ipad, ect...)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 3 – 5 years of Residential Construction
  • Valid Driver's License** MUST HAVE**
  • Reliable Transportation(truck and/or SUV) ** MUST HAVE**
  • Must have tools to complete tasks outlined above
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to work both alone and as part of a team
  • Must be able to think on your feet and apply troubleshooting techniques
Experience:
Construction: 3-5 years (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)
