Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience in staffing, executive search, or construction recruiting.
• Proven track record of placing candidates in high-volume or fast-growth environments.
• Experience recruiting construction professionals such as PMs, Superintendents, Estimators, and Project Engineers.
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and ATS.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 Base Salary + Commissions
On-Target Earnings: $130,000 - $200,000+ Annually

Join a General Contractor in Growth Mode

We have partnered with a rapidly growing Contractor based in Costa Mesa, CA, and we're on a mission to build one of the strongest construction teams in Southern California. Over the next 6-12 months, we plan to add50-100 employees across operations, project management, field leadership, estimating, preconstruction, and corporate functions.

To help us achieve that goal, we're looking for a high-energy, results-driven Internal Construction Recruiter with an agency recruiting background who thrives on sourcing, headhunting, and closing top talent.

This is not a role for someone who posts a job and waits for applicants to roll in. We need a true hunter who knows how to identify passive candidates, build pipelines, create relationships, and consistently deliver high-quality hires.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for construction and corporate positions
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, industry networks, referrals, and other recruiting platforms
• Build and maintain robust pipelines of passive and active candidates
• Partner directly with company leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and staffing priorities
• Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for fit, experience, and culture alignment
• Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process
• Track recruiting activity and pipeline metrics through ATS and recruitment tools
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top construction talent in competitive markets
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities when appropriate
• Help scale recruiting processes to support aggressive company growth goals

Required Experience

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a staffing agency, executive search firm, or construction recruiting environment
• Proven track record of placing candidates in high-volume or fast-growth environments
• Experience recruiting construction professionals such as Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Project Engineers, Safety Professionals, and corporate staff
• Strong experience using:
  • LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Indeed
  • ZipRecruiter
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Direct sourcing and recruiting technologies
