Job summary

JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Quality Specialist to contribute to core quality programs on major Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will support QA plans, documentation, and field observations while collaborating with suppliers and project teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction management, up to 2 years in construction, and the ability to lift 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-2 years construction experience and/or internship/co-op in construction.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture; sets example for others.
• Participates in project quality plans, water intrusion plan, and quality status reports.
• Ensures documentation of QA processes, test results and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with suppliers to maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify quality problems and assist in constructability reviews.
• Develops site observations to ensure specs and quality are met and work is timely.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies.
• Attends pre-planning and progress meetings; conducts site walk-throughs for compliance.
• Investigates non-compliant conditions and provides root-cause recommendations.
• Prepares QA reports for field superintendents, PMs and subcontractors.
• May conduct basic constructability reviews; coordinates with other JE Dunn teams.
