Job summary

BB&E Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineering Technician to support NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic on-site at the Philadelphia Navy Yard Annex, PA. The role focuses on construction quality management, safety oversight, and technical coordination for complex systems installation.

You will coordinate QA activities, witness tests, review submittals, and work with the Construction Manager to ensure compliant, safe, and timely project execution in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Quality Control Manager on NAVFAC/USACE projects OR 10 years as a foreman in concrete, mechanical, electrical, masonry, or carpentry.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA program and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and witness testing and commissioning of critical systems.
• Support safety program, conduct site safety reviews with the CM.
• Liaise with NAVFAC CM, prepare daily QA and safety reports.
• Assist in reviewing contractor submittals and as-built drawings.
